History

Established in December 1989, Battery Boys has a long history of growth in Saskatoon .

Originally started as an automotive sector business, Battery Boys evolved into a specialty battery business – supplying battery products and building battery assemblies for industry and institutional users. 1995 marked the move into retail with the opening of our Circle Drive location. Within 3 years we opened our second location on 8th Street offering shopping convenience to the east side of the city. Soon after, Battery Boys was approved as an Authorized Sasktel Dealer offering mobility products and service.  By 2001, our Circle Drive location became a Mobility dealer and 2005 saw the opening of our third location on Attridge Drive.

Currently Battery Boys can supply our customer with the purchase of cell phones, cellular accessories, wireless data products and extensive knowlege in the selection of SaskTel cellular  or wireless data rate packages. As of August 15, 2006 Battery Boys became a Max™ digital television and High Speed Internet dealer. All three locations are equipped to display and demonstrate all of these products. It is our goal to offer the best customer service and ensure every choice is right for our customer.

Specialty Batteries

Battery Boys is well established in Saskatoon and area as a specialty battery centre with the only location in the area that can build battery assemblies (ni-cd, ni-mh, lithium)as well as distributing battery products from numerous suppliers. This would include sales to hospitals, school boards, utilities, electrical contractors, surveyors and many other commercial and institutional users. As a retailer, Battery Boys also sells these products and services to everyday consumers. Most rechargeable devices can be taken to Battery Boys and have a new battery assembly installed. Some examples would be: razors, cordless phones, drills, knives, radio controlled devices.  The sale of consumable battery products include: cellular, video, photo, watch, remote, key fob, cordless phone, laptop, alarm and toy batteries to name a few.
